After several months, the implant will normally have begun to fuse with the jawbone for maximum strength, stability and longevity.

Your dentist will then attach a dental crown or denture to the insert. Crowns, dentures and bridges are custom-made to replace the missing tooth, with a virtually identical size, shape and colour to the natural teeth.
